English Critical Literacy

In last week's Friday our class had to research a bunch of words and make a definition of it by your own words, [Plagiarism is bad] this is going to be mostly from what I can understand whilst researching this words. [there were some words

Question : What does Bias mean ?

from what I understand the bias I mostly see it as a word that is used when someone is against someone/group particularly making it look unfair for them.

Thoughts : I'm I Bias,

Answer : unlikely since I have a habit of saying yes even though i didn't get what people are talking about,

Question : What does Source mean?

I think it relates to something that originally/came from something specific.

Thoughts : I don't know since I came from my mother that must be were I came from?

Answer. Since it is Source I don't really know?

Question : What does Credible mean?

It relates to someone/something convincing able to persuade people to think that something good will happen.

Thoughts : If I don't know the thinks people are saying then I probably won't put some trust on it.

Answers: Stranger/Unknown Danger

Question : What does Authority mean?

It relates to someone having a right/knowledge about something in which they can give orders e.g ordering something from a food store

Thoughts: To my Point of understanding the word Authority it gives me somewhat a bossy and freedom-ish feeling.

Answers : I some authority in my case.

Question : What does Reliable mean?

Wait doesn't it mean the something as Credible? I guess its a bit different, I think it means that you can give a person some trust almost making you feel safe and secure about that person e.g Best friends.

Thoughts, I wouldn't give people my trust if I don't know them.

Answer: Again people Stranger/Unknown Danger.

Question : What does Perspective mean

Perspective/Point of view relates to someone having a view on something e.g relates to when you go to something high you can see what looks like the ground below you

Thoughts : On my point of view this is what I can mostly understand while researching

Answers: if it relates to you overlooking stuff then I might not agree I have something a fear of heights.

Question : What does Agenda mean?

It relates to someone having a list of things to do or discussed. e.g like going to the mall to buy some daily needs 

Thoughts : I'm goods with going to shopping

Answers: : As long as I have job then i can buy anything well not anything I will be careful about buying stuff in malls

Question : What does Manipulate mean?

It relates to someone having control of something or someone somewhat like Authority, Which again makes someone feel bossy or the master mind

Thoughts : I am bad at manipulating people

Answers: I also wouldn't manipulate people it seems like I am taking peoples freedom which make me feel sad, I mean I also have to follow what teachers and other grown adults that I know if they I have an order for me to do
