Task 1
Factual/True ? Satirical/False

This is all going to be from what I can understand whilst researching this websites

Onion

Questions

Answers

1. It is not appropriate for young people and some people are being offended by their Photoshop  pictures
2. People and they Photoshop some of them and some are being made just for fun
3. It is pretty fake as they are including words that are bad which are not meant young people to learn whilst researching this website
4. it is Satirical just by looking at the information they are sharing

Answers

1. it looks like somewhat a news website but then as you stumbled upon looking at what they are posting [which I saw one of the posts that were inappropriate]
2. It kinda looks Photoshoped [I kinda don't get it] but I can tell they information they are telling are closely false
3. They are kinda sharing the same headlines as Onions but a bit more proper instead of using bad words although they have some inappropriate posts

1. Looks a bit like incognito were everybody is a stranger
2. they are photoshoping some of the pictures I think
3. Close to the like in The New York Times
4. It is a Satirical website

Answers
1. it looks real to me I think from my perspective they kinda telling real stuff that happened
2. I think they are actually using real photos taken from a specific situation
3. Close to something you would see in a proper news website
4. It is a Factual website [I think]

The Daily Mash

Answers
1. it looks fake just from looking at the information they are giving in post [including bad words]
2. they are somewhat photoshoping some photos I can't really quite understand
3. Close to the other Satirical websites like Onion etc.
4. it is a Satirical website

1. Close to being a proper news I guess
2. Not Photoshop I guess
3. Close to a proper news [they are kinda using proper words for their post]
4. It is a Factual website I think

1. It looks proper from the post they are posting sounds real
2. they look real I think just from my perspective
3. proper Info and proper words are being used like a proper news website
4. it is a Factual website

Answers
1.it sounds true to me as they are kinda posting serious news
2.it is not Photoshop I think
3. I kinda don't still get it but I think is true
4. It is a Factual Website I think

Task

2

My list of what to do when checking out a news website [making sure it is not fake]
1. See if the information they are using are appropriate for all age and it is not offensive
2. stay a while until you get what the website really is and check if the photo in their posts are not Photoshop
3. Check what the people's comments are in their post it could relate to something that happened serious and people are laughing in the comment section
4. Try to find the original content of a specific news and compare it to the other one see if they are making fun of it
5. If you are unsure ask some advise if you should watch their content [ask someone]
