Passion Project =Thursday

In Thursday today me and my group currently were sorting out our mistakes from Monday and finishing what we needed to do, either it be making posters or sorting Draw.io.  After that I think me and my group will be discussing about who is taking particular roles in our Basketball Tournament for our Passion Project,

What have I learnt so far?
I learnt how to edit some pictures to add more effects for our posters, and also how a little bit talk with people I never knew and cooperate with them

What I needed to do?
For the next part of Passion Project, I will complete my poster for the football group and after that I will have to discuss to their group of what I am doing next, I will try to finish it in the next couple of periods before lunch.

Read : From what I can understand reading the article - a random guy sending kind words about students for nearly a year

Opinion 1 = it is good to be sending kind and encouraging messages to students at school. which helps them through out their day

Overall = I think it is fine to send messages to students but make sure to not bother them while doing some work

Q. Where did Cath Brown grew up?, What role did she had?
A. Cath Brown grew up in Taumutu, She was also a member of of the Marae Committee and later she had the position of as Chair fo Te Taumutu Runanga and Upoko.

A. She was A Ngai Tahu weaver. because her work was being exhibited widely both nationally and internationally.

A.The Ngati Moki Marae is located at Taumutu and the land around the Marae are shores of Te Waihora [Lake Ellesmere] at the southern end of  Kaitorete spit

A.it refers to indigenous freshwater species that have been tradionally used for food source and etc, They mostly eat Eels [Tuna] Kanakana [Lamprey and Putakitaki [paradise ducks]

A. it modernly looks like modern house but I think they made some traditionally changes to it

What I want for Summer Learning Journey

Recently me and my class we asked by one of the uru manuka guys about Summer Learning Journey and I had a quick thought about what I want and I decided to put my lists of things I want and Info about them as to what they are so you guys can do it easily [it is if I pass]

its a game that is part of a game series called Elder Scrolls its an MMORPG online game where you can play with other people and coop on some amazing adventures in the land called Tamriel it is mostly based on the main characters story with other important lore characters

Drama = Custard Pie Fight

What did I do In Drama today?
me in my class watched a couple of movie clips that shows about custard pie fights and some moves that relates to them like people throwing pie from other people [normal one] there are also some that are a different from others like people going straight in front of people and just slam it in their face and they might even consider twisting it a little bit

Passion Projects = Sports Community

What we did today?
me and my group decided to make a sign up sheet to tell us how many people who wants to participate [more particularly the year 7's and year 8's] in our game, we also made some posters to let people know our game and to see to themselves if they want to play

Here is my not completed yet poster [specially about football because my group and the other 3 is mixing all our sport I think]

How does this help my work?
it helps us attract people to our game and lets us start our game sooner we just need to do our setup and other needed equipment for our game

What are you doing next?
I am just going to finishing up my unfinished work in a sensible amount of time needed to complete and also discuss with my group members of what we are doing next time on Thursday

Passion Projects

Today my group decided to do Sports for Fundraising for our Passion Projects and what we decided to do was to do a basketball tournament and we are having people donate stuff to us by participating the basketball tournament. From my understanding from our current situation I think we are donating it to our community/ charity

here is what me and my group's SWOT Analysis looks like for now 

• Basketball tournament donates a can of food and gives the can of food to charity.   
• Basketball tournament donates clothes that are to big or small for you.
• Basketball tournament donates money to play the tournament.
• Do a sprint to donate stuff to your favorite charity.

Summer Learning Blog 1

In Cybersmart, My class did a blog post about using your google skills and also how to improve your learning rate, and the first lesson was about the country you wish to go and have a tour around someday mine was Japan.

The name of the country you have chosen to go [Country] :  The Country that I chosen to go Is Japan.
The population of the capital city is : around 9.273 million since 2015
In January, the weather in the capital city is usually cold as winter starts in December and ends at February which it makes since that it will be cold
The Capital city of Japan is Tokyo, Located is around the middle of the country
The languages mostly speak Japanese and it consists of Katakana, Kanji and Hiragana

Fun Facts
1. Its where most of the Japanese cartoons are being made/Anime and also Manga which is basically a novel/ Picture Book, I found this out by searching the things about Japan and what makes it unique
2. They have thousands of temples and shrine and they have a unique culture, also for the unusual food you would fine from the world are mostly made in Japan

wFor Passion Projects I am in Sports community where you have to think something to help our community a better place like, helping people about gambling addiction by reducing Pokie machines around our community and there is also many other ways to help our community. Me and my group though about doing Sports Fundraising since we are still in the planning part we still don't know how to do our project

EOTC WEEK Year 8 : Write it

Write about a time when you were challenged to do something ?

It was about the time when I tried football for the first time when I was a year 7, I tried football for the first time I think it was in winter sports and I picked I sport I am interested to play. At Friday it was time to do sports so my team lined up and went to our designated spot and warmed up for our upcoming game we were versing, So we finished warming and started to versus our opposing team [I forgot which school were they] about the first part of the game we were doing pretty well until most of my team were very exhausted as we did our best to score a goal, eventually we finished the game we won but we also were being humble to the other team who lose the game . After playing with the other team, they went home and we said our goodbyes to them, and from that moment it felt rewarding to me to be able to beat a different school and I also learnt how to be humble and respect the opposite team and I also learnt what good sportsmanship is

Cybersmart : Researching about Rugby

In Tuesday November 6
8TS and 8Bh both of our class was working in about how to make our searches in google more effective and fast
we searched about the Stonehenge and about Rugby
About rugby's origin it started in England, at a Rugby school as A guy named William Webb Ellis, he did something unusual during at his school's backyard, he caught the ball then he carried it forward, rather than the opposite, then I couple of years they considered it as part of rugby

The one who brought rugby to New Zealand was Charles Monro as at that time he was in London, because he was interested in it and went back to home and told near by people about it, then later on he said to a group of football club called ''Nelson Football Club'' They tried it out and it went smoothly so they continued to share it around until many people heard about it and started trying it our and the first match was held in New Zealand [I think it was Dunedin]

What is my Favourite Actor

Will Smith because he and Tommy Joe went and had a role to play in a specific movie called ''Men in Black'' and he also attending some different movies in his life time
