Character 2 : English = Coraline

HOPE
There was a scene when everything seems lost as Coraline's recklessness and due to the rats that hindered her which made her lost all of her progress and temporarily stopped from stopping the other mother. But at the least moment the moon that was about to be covered by the button suddenly stopped as the black cat somehow managed to get the last remaining stone from the rat the evaded Coraline, Giving Coraline the confidence and courage to face the other mother once more.

Why is it important to have hope? = my thoughts
so that it prevents you from feeling the following: gloomy, hopeless, despair and other things you feel at that stage in life, as it can hinder your immensely small or big. Stay positive and always be cheery.

CURIOSITY
In Coraline the film, a particular scene was perfectly fitting for the word curiosity, as Coraline is always curious about things and how it can useful for her which gives her advantages. For Instance we see this when she was given the 'looking stone' which helped her curiously find the three stones that were preventing  the ghost children from being free instead giving them endless suffering

What is important about Curiosity = my perspective
when questioning a lot of things can have its benefits for example you may learn something new instead of the usual thing people teach you, also it can provide huge benefits like getting jobs that gives you a reasonable amount and something you like to do.

STRANGENESS = My choice
The black cat through out the film from my point of view, seemed like he was strange and mysteries as he just pops in whenever he desires and can also fade away. We see this when Coraline was apologizing from her wrong doings to the cat in which he slowly forgives her but in like a mysterious way as there was one part where he disappeared then appeared once again.

What am I learning?
I am learning about character strengths.
How does this work show my learning?
by picking 2 and making a short summary of what I think how it was portrayed in the film.
What am I wondering as result of my work?
Was there a scene that describes the word 'despair'
