Paragraph
Although Maori and British are both types of Government, they are very different. For instance, the Maori government sounds a bit more laid back and whilst in comparison. The British government is much more compact and organised. However it is important to understand the difference between the Maori and British because it may cause some people misunderstand what you are saying.

Matariki Research
Matariki
Task 1
Research some history around Matariki.
History = Matariki gives an ideal opportunity to explore the ways that people pass on and aspects of their culture and heritage. The beginning of the 21st century has seen a revival in Matariki celebrations. It is becoming an increasingly important part of the New Zealand calendar. Some have compared Matariki to the American holiday of Thanksgiving or Halloween.
Traditions = Depending on your religion or ethnicity, New Year can come at different times of the year and be celebrated in many different ways. For instance, there is the Chinese New Year, the Muslim month of Muharram, and Rosh Hashanah, one of the most important religious holidays in the Jewish calendar. also In Hebrew, Rosh Hashanah means the ‘head of the year’.
Celebrations = For many New Zealanders, 31 December means having parties and celebrations to celebrate new year. These celebrations are an important way of marking the passage of time as well as making new beginnings.

Bobby Kennedy = was a songwriter and composer from New Zealand Auckland. He has been writing and recording music for atleast 20 years. In his early days he studied jazz music and he played the drums.
Matt Barus = has been in bands in the 90's. He was inspired by Jeremy Taylor. '' Hallelujah '' he conspired to buy an electric guitar and he started to make his own songs which he tried his best make it good.

Hobbit
The movie 'Hobbit' is a wonderful and movie that really does fulfill the word 'fantasy' as everything is so fantasy-like. especially with how popular was it back then [the books was sold A LOT] The film was itself was a masterpiece by J.R.R Tolkien. The movie's lore straight forward just like other fantasy types stories.
