Aim: To look at a kite and how we can overcome the 4 forces of flight.

Forces of flight with Kites

Force	Increase / decrease	How do we do this when making a kite?
Drag	Decrease	Need to make sure it is pointed, also need it to be angled correctly to the wind
Lift	Increase	Face the kite to direction where the wind goes
Gravity	Decrease	To make it streamline
Thrust	Increase	Strong, Steady, Wind

Reading Week 4

In reading we made reading task where we searched up how kites fly or even stay on the sky

Private Information
Never publish or post anything on the website that includes your private information: for example if you have Facebook account and post a picture that in shows your private stuffs, especially passwords and email accounts, As hackers around the world could hack into your account and ruin your life by doing bad things like. Typing bad words on chats while you was not the one doing it. or even hack into your bank account

In this week we mostly did Algebra, Flight and other subjects

Art : Logo Ideas

In art today my class made a task where we pick some logos that gives us Ideas of what logo were going to make and also to make a explanation out it.

Explanation 

1. The Diamond Symbol

It looks unique and I found it quite interesting to make an idea of it

2. I also like the axe logo design[ Combination] as it reminds me of a game I used to play but also it has an awesome figure

3. I like [the T U T Letter mark[] because it looks very different from others as it does not just goes forward [right ] but also goes backwards [left]

Today we made a science plan about how to make a water bottle rockets

Reading task : Term 2

Learn: Who/what Invented flight

It started in 1452 when Leonardo da Vinci invented a paper plane until then the planes started to evolve every now and then now were we in the modern generation have more advanced aircraft like the helicopters [and there are some people in the world that are inventing unmanned-aircraft]

Create : Use your imagination please [of the aircraft]

Flight : Aerodynamics

Aim:  To look at the 4 main forces of flying and how these can be overcome

Hypothesis : I think

Method : Working in pairs you are going  to make a paper wing and experiment with it

Plane type	How does it behave?	Time ( secs)
Paper sheet, drop	It slowly to the direction where the wind is stronger	1 sec [about]
Paper with fold down middle, drop	First part it may go slowly but then since the wind is strong the wind kinda made go to many directions	2 sec [about]
Paper with fold and 1 paper clip, drop	because the other side was heavier that side will most likely go down further	1 [about]
Fold, 2 clips, rudder, drop	it goes down much more further cause of the stuff on it	1 [about]
Fold, 2 clips, rudder throw	It did the same thing but just went down a little bit plus the stuff on it or in it is making it heavier/ 1 sec

Findings : Sometimes the wind is just too strong that it adds more pressure behind more a little bit 

mostly some of the stuff it is probably the wind

Conclusion : Paper with fold middle plus drop fell longer and the last one had more foldings to it which makes it heavier

What we did : Term 2 Week 1

Today: Me and my class did 4 Task { Kete, Maths, Reading and Writing]

In Writing : we did a recount about what we did in the breaks [two weeks off school]
In Maths: : we did a Measurement task
In Reading : we read a book for at least 3 chapters and make a explanation / paragraph about it for each
In Kete : we did a profile for when we are done in year 8s
