Narrative Writing {Draft}


It was a dark and gloomy night when the surroundings of Paul was silent as if nobody was there he was walking on the way home passing a ray of house, bus stops and shops closed. it was all quiet.  He began starting to remember the sorrowful and painful days when his pet Rag caused trouble for him but sadly Rag and Luna [Rag’s wife] died While their son was born. His and her son grown in the wild without knowing his parent but what he remembered is to cause trouble and live up to be like his parents. Rag was the one who caused trouble first and Luna the mother of Raylan decided to join with Rag and cause trouble too.

In the next day At 5:00 pm in the afternoon it was a nice and warm day with houses open, streets full of people and shops that were open for sale. There were so many positive things to do. Paul wanted to go and take a walk in Wycola park in New Zealand but later on as he kept on walking he saw Raylan [Rag’s and Luna’s son] who grew up to be like his dad and mum. He was fierce, strong and smart. He learnt many tactics while surviving in the wild. Paul wanted to run but he has got no choice even if he runs away from Raylan he will track him again and again until nothing is in his way. So Paul was mind blanked, he did not know what to do but when he saw a knife near him he grabbed it and use it as a weapon to stab beast at the back.

After a couple minutes ago when the two opponents regain their energy and strength Raylan runs away to safety until he can use some sort of strategy to defeat Paul next time. Same goes to Paul he backed out and think of ways to stop Raylan. So the two opponents truced for now until the day when the two meets and battle again.  Paul was astonished that the son of his pets was alive but then he was also worried that he and Raylan might kill one another.

Characters:
Raylan : the son of Rag and Luna who grown to be like his dad and mum
Rag: the father of Raylan and husband of Luna he cause a lot of trouble back then.    Luna : The wife of Rag and mother of Raylan she got interested of Rag and begin to cause trouble with him.                                                                                                                        Paul :  The main protagonist keep on having the bad memories of his pet Rag and soon he met his son, Raylan, and have a bloody fight.

Events


Problem: Raylan is still out there with many strategies yet to learn to kill Paul once and for all. Raylan wants revenge he did not know that his dad and mum passed away and was not killed by Paul, In Fact Rag and Lag was the pet of Paul

Solution : Luckily Paul survived the fight and truced with the beast he went home with a mind full of ways to be safe.  When he meets him again he will be prepared and ready for a fight.

Sustainability and Solution Part 2

Slide 4 : how many plastic are used in New Zealand


There are about 1 billion of shopping bags used in New Zealand. People often forgets to think about the environment and they just throw their trash everywhere. Starving animals eat plastic because they mistake it for food and so they die.  Some of our human waste goes into the ocean as well killing sea creatures. Just think about it you could lose or someone could lose their pets animals just because of the plastic we throw on land or sea.[although some people don’t know the current situation of the sea they just keep on throwing their trash.[Outcome]: People use plastic too much and they throw it everywhere e.g at the ocean or leaving them be and the land animals eat it and die same goes for the sea creatures.
Slide 5 : The pollution cycle
Though you may already know that billions of tons of plastic is made every year and are sent flying into the everywhere and pollute the oceans, do you know what happens to the animals that eats the plastic? Let’s start at the very start, first we consume food on our styrofoam/plastic packages and throw it onto the ground, gets into the oceans and beaches then some kind of storm gets the garbage to go everywhere, the fish eats the plastic and poisonous garbage then gets collected by the factory ships and then we consume the cooked poisoned fish in packages and throw the garbage and plastic onto the ground and let it move into the oceans then it all starts again.

The Four Spheres: {that I know a lot} [DRAFT]

Did you know that there four spheres on Earth ? they are called the Atmosphere, Biosphere, Geosphere and the Hydrosphere, and also did you know that the four spheres are all around us. Check out the internet there are amazing facts about the spheres ? and also did you know how they can interact with each other ? I will explain more about the our four spheres.

Paragraph One : Atmosphere

The Atmosphere, this is the first sphere that I am gonna talk about and all about it's affect to other spheres. One Explaining :The Atmosphere is our most needed supplies because we need Oxygen for us to breath, and also the Atmosphere contains many kinds of air there are Carbon Dioxide, Sulfur and etc. and any kinds of air. Here are the four layers of the Atmosphere the first one is the Troposphere it contains a lot of air and it can extends about 30-40 something miles [ I might be wrong ]. The second one is the Stratosphere It's one of the lowest sphere and it extends about 50 miles, The Stratosphere also provides protection to us because sometimes there are chunks of meteors exploding form space and all of the meteors slightly go to Earth so that's when the Stratosphere stops them before they get to Earth and destroys us all{ That would be terrible and horrible I know that for sure if the meteors hit us. } moving on to the third layer of the Atmosphere called the Mesosphere it extends about 400 miles and it starts to have thin air there and on the lowest layer of The Mesosphere contains the Ionosphere The Ionosphere contains a lot of electricity and other stuff that contains electricity and if you touch one of the electrics you might be like Dr. Binocs { sorry that was a joke } The lucky last one is the Thermosphere, In the Thermosphere there are thin bit of air and that is the last layer of our Atmosphere [ I don't know if i want to float in the Thermosphere because I might not breath and die floating at space imagine that]
Two Explaining : so the Atmosphere includes all air and has four different layers. [ So yeah, I learnt a lot of Atmosphere and I am not quite sure if there are other things I should add ]

Paragraph Two : Biosphere

The Biosphere, this is the second sphere that I will talk about i will also include all about it's affect to other spheres like the Atmosphere. One Explaining : The Biosphere is a sphere that we call life or living things in ancient greek time they call it Bio stands the word for life. [ sounds interesting ] Moving on to the second thing that it can do/affects to other sphere

Recount: Highlights and Low lights:

      My Recount of the Holidays

What? Going to a Bible meeting

When?On Friday night

Where? I don't know

Who?With my Friends family and close family friends

Why? Because We had to Baptise someone from our group




Bible Meeting

My Highlight on the weekends was going to a wonderful bible meeting on Friday night on a swimming pool with my friends family and having fantastic time with my close friend. When we reached to place I was so extremely confused about the place that we went because looks like a working place to me while my dad was purchasing a pass.

Then after that when my dad was finished buying a pass on the way to the entrance suddenly I look at door and stand there like a mannequin waiting for someone to open the door. Then when my dad came up to me he said wave your hands near to the door and suddenly my mind came up where there was those type of doors where you have to wave your hand to enter. After that huge embarrassing moment I had to close my eyes a little bit then I opened my eyes and it was fantastic I saw my friends splashing themselves on the pool, While I was done changing my cloths I slowly went back to where my friends and played with them on the water. After playing with my awesome friends at the pool but I had to quit early because I just couldn't handle the cold anymore even when I was at a warm spot I was still cold I felt like I was living on a Glacier with snow all over my body. After that huge freezing moment and got changed I was so surprised my friends were still not cold and I was like ''Bro are you guys like penguins because why aren't you cold yet'' and they replied to me they said" NO where not penguins it's just like feel so good because in Philippines it is a very hot country and the temperature is about 30 degrees hot or{ fewer than 30 degrees } to be continued and I am deeply sorry if I use to many I's and wrong punctuation

Bubble gum Experiment

Which one makes the best bubbles?

Chewing gum experiment

You will be in groups of 3 students to test the which gum is the best for bubble, stretch and taste.

Aim: To see which bubble gum makes the best Bubbles, has the best elasticity and keeps its taste for the longest.

Hypothesis: I think that the ? will make the largest bubble and have the longest stretch. The ? will have the longest taste.

Equipment:
  • 3 different chewing gum brands
  • stop watch
  • ruler
  • graph to record detail.
Method:
  1. Place the first piece of chewing gum in your mouth and time how long it takes to keep its taste.
  2. Chew the gum and record this time on the chart.
  3. Using the same piece of gum blow a bubble. Record on the chart as 'no bubble', 'small', 'medium', 'large'.
  4. Test for elasticity. Keep all of the gum in your mouth and see how long you can stretch it. Measure it and record its length.
Findings:

Hubba bubba lasted for 1 minute and 33 seconds. it is a medium bubble size. and stretches for about 48 cm

Extra lasted 48 seceonds and is a small bubble gum size with 40 cm

Pk lasted 1 minute and 44 second it is a small bubble gum size with 65 cm

Bouncy Ball

Bouncing Balls

Aim:
I want to find out if there is a relationship between how high a ball is dropped from and how high it bounces up.

Hypothesis:
I predict that the higher the ball is dropped from, the higher it bounces.

Method:
The equipment that I will need is:

  • Bouncy ball
  • Ruler
  • Stand with boss head and clamp



  1. Attach the clamp to the stand.
  2. Clamp the ruler onto the stand so that the zero mark is on the ground.
  3. Hold the bottom of the ball on 50cm and drop.
  4. Record the height of the bounce measuring the bottom of the ball.
  5. Repeat the experiment twice more and record the average measurement.
  6. Repeat the whole experiment using heights of 60cm, 70cm, 80cm, 90cm, 100cm
                                      
Variables:

Independent (changing) Variable = The height of the drop
Dependent (measured) Variable = The height of the bounce

    Results:

    Findings:
    1.At 80 cm the ball bounce at 31 cm on carpet and the other ball bounce at 35 cm on tarsal.
    2.At 90 cm the ball bounce at 31 cm on carpet and the other ball bounce at 44 cm on tarsal.
    3.At 100 cm the ball bounce at 39 cm on carpet and the other ball bounce at 47 cm on tarsal. 






    Discussion:

    Conclusion: When the ball was drop on 100 cm in the carpet the ball bounce 39 cm and in the tarsal the ball bounce 47 cm.
